Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PharmDtoBe Guides ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit, use services on, or make a purchase from www.pharmdtobeguides.com (the “Site”).

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

When you access the Site, we will learn certain information about you during your visit.

Information You Provide To Us:
The Site provides various places for users to provide information. We collect information that users provide by:

  • Filling out forms on the Site (e.g., contact forms, order forms, email subscription forms).

  • Communicating with us via contact forms or email.

  • Responding to surveys.

  • Using our search feature.

  • Providing comments or other feedback.

  • Providing information when ordering a product or service via the Site.

This information may include your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and payment information (including credit card numbers, processed by our payment processors). We refer to this as “Order Information” when related to a purchase or attempted purchase, but collect similar information for other interactions.

We use information you provide to us to deliver the requested product and/or service, fulfill orders (including processing payments, arranging shipping, providing invoices/confirmations), communicate with you, screen orders for potential risk or fraud, improve our overall performance, and, when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with offers, promotions, information, or advertising relating to our products or services.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technology (Device Information):
As you navigate through our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing actions. We may use automatic data collection technologies, including Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel, to collect information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns. This includes:

  • Information about your device: web browser type, operating system, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device.

  • Browsing information: the individual web pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, information about how you interact with the Site (e.g., traffic patterns, pages visited, time spent), and communications between your computer and our Site.

  • Location information (generally derived from your IP address).

We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

The Device Information we collect automatically is primarily used for statistical data to help us improve our Site and service offerings, and does not initially include personal identifiers. However, if you voluntarily provide personal information (e.g., by placing an order or signing up for emails), our systems may associate the automatically collected Device Information with your personal information. We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about information you provide to us (like Order Information) and automatically collected information (Device Information).

USE OF COOKIES AND PIXELS

Similar to other commercial websites, our Site utilizes standard technologies called “cookies,” server logs, and other tracking technologies like “web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” to collect information about how our Site is used.

  • Cookies: These are small data files placed on your device or computer, often including an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. Cookies help us understand user behavior, facilitate effective advertising, and measure website functionality. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org

  • Log Files: These files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

  • Web Beacons, Tags, Pixels: These are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. We utilize social media pixels (specifically the Facebook Pixel). These pixels allow social media sites (like Facebook/Meta) to track visitors to outside websites to tailor advertising messages users see while visiting that social media website, measure ad effectiveness, and build targeted advertising audiences. We use these pixels in compliance with the policies of the respective social media platforms.

Managing Your Preferences: We use a cookie consent management tool (WebsitePolicies) to help manage your preferences for non-essential cookies and tracking technologies in accordance with applicable laws like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. When you first visit our Site, and periodically thereafter, you may be presented with a banner allowing you to provide consent for, or opt-out of, certain types of cookies and tracking based on your jurisdiction. You can typically adjust your preferences at any time through the settings provided by this tool, often accessible via a link in the website footer or within the cookie banner itself.

These technologies are used for various purposes, including essential site function, performance analytics (e.g., via Google Analytics), and advertising/marketing analytics and targeting (e.g., via Facebook Pixel). Your choices regarding these technologies can be managed as described above.

THIRD PARTY USE OF COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Site may be served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers (like our platform provider, analytics services, and payment processors). These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies (like pixels) to collect information about you when you use our Site.

The information they collect may be associated with your personal information, or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content, or for their own analytics and operational purposes.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. Refer to the "SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION" and "BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING" sections for more details on key third parties and opt-out options.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to:

  • Fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information via Stripe or PayPal, arranging for shipping if applicable, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

  • Deliver requested products or services, including access to online courses hosted on Systeme.io.

  • Communicate with you regarding orders, inquiries, or customer service matters.

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us (e.g., through email signup), provide you with information, newsletters, promotions, or advertising relating to our products or services via Systeme.io's built-in email marketing features.

We use the Device Information that we collect to:

  • Help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address).

  • Improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics via Google Analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site).

  • Assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns (using tools like Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel).

  • Understand website traffic and user behavior.

  • Support targeted advertising efforts as described below.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above, and to operate our business. We do not sell, rent, or lease our email subscription lists to third parties. We will not disclose your email address or other personal information to any third parties except as allowed in this policy or required by law.

The key third parties we share data with include:

  • Systeme.io: As our core platform provider, Systeme.io hosts our website, processes e-commerce transactions, delivers emails (transactional and marketing), and hosts our online courses. We share necessary Personal Information with Systeme.io to enable these functions. You can read more about how Systeme.io processes data (as a data processor for us) in their privacy policy, typically available on their website. (Note: If we add future services like community hosting through Systeme.io, this policy will be updated accordingly).

  • Stripe & PayPal: To process payments securely when you make a purchase. We share necessary Order Information (like name, billing address, payment details – handled directly by them) with these processors. You should review their respective privacy policies for details on how they handle your data.

  • Google Analytics: To understand website traffic and user behavior to improve the Site. We share Device Information (like IP address, browsing data) with Google Analytics. You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

  • Facebook (Meta): Through the use of the Facebook Pixel, we share Device Information (like IP address, pages visited, actions taken on the Site) with Facebook for tracking advertising effectiveness, optimizing ads, building targeted audiences for advertising, and analyzing user interactions originating from or related to Facebook/Meta platforms. See the "BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING" section for opt-out information.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information (particularly Device Information collected via cookies and pixels) to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. This often involves sharing information with third-party advertising platforms like Google and Facebook (Meta).

For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.

You can opt out of targeted advertising from specific services using the links below:

Additionally, you can opt out of some interest-based advertising services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at: https://optout.aboutads.info/?c=2&lang=EN.

Opting out of targeted advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads altogether; it means the ads you see may be less relevant to your interests. Note that under some privacy laws (like CCPA/CPRA), the use of cookies/pixels for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" personal information, which you have the right to opt-out of (see "Your Rights" section).

EMAIL INFORMATION & POLICIES

If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received online, mail, and telephone. This also applies when you register for our website, sign up through any of our forms using your email address, or make a purchase on this Site.

We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as allowed in the section titled "SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION" or as required by law.

We will maintain the information you send via e-mail in accordance with applicable federal law.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all marketing e-mails sent from our organization will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. In addition, all marketing e-mail messages will also contain concise information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list so that you receive no further e-mail communication from us.

Our emails provide users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us by reading the unsubscribe instructions located at the bottom of any marketing e-mail they receive from us at any time. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the e-mail.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION AND SECURE INFORMATION TRANSMISSIONS?

We employ commercially reasonable methods to ensure the security of the information you provide to us and the information we collect automatically. This includes using standard security protocols (like SSL) and working only with reputable third-party vendors (like Systeme.io, Stripe, PayPal) who implement their own security measures.

Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information (like credit card details) to us by email. Doing so is allowed, but at your own risk. Information you enter on our website during checkout or in sensitive forms may be transmitted securely via a secure medium known as Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL. Credit Card information and other sensitive payment information is processed directly by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) and is never transmitted unencrypted or via email by us.

We may use software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, we use software programs and rely on our platform provider (Systeme.io) to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
