Hi, I’m Katura —Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, former pharmacy school professor, and long-time mentor to pharmacy students across the country.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked in primary care clinics, built programs to improve prescribing, and helped patients manage everything from diabetes and depression to hypertension, COPD, and heart failure. But one of my favorite parts of the job? Supporting students—especially during the moments when it all feels like a lot.

I’ve served as a faculty member, course director, preceptor, and curriculum chair. I helped design a PGY-2 residency program and created direct patient care services in a family medicine clinic. I’ve done the “big things” on paper—but what I care about most is helping students feel like they belong, like they’re capable, and like they’re not doing this alone.

That’s why I started PharmDtoBe Guides—to share everything I’ve learned (and everything I wish I had known) in a way that’s easy to access and built for the real-world chaos of pharmacy school.
